Bronxville Heroes: Pat Kelly

by Kayalyn Kibbe

Another great person working at our school is Pat Kelly. Pat works in our cafeteria and is always making others smile. She answered a few questions I had in order to get to know her better.

Name: Pat Kelly
Kayalyn: How long have you been working at Bronxville?

Pat: 4 years now. I used to work at Briarcliff and Pelham before coming to Bronxville

K: Where are you from?

P: I’m from City Island.

K: Whats your favorite type of music?

P: I like the Oldies and everything but rap- I don’t know what they are talking about in rap.

K: Do you have any favorite movies?

P: No, not really.

K: What are your hobbies?

P: Other than taking care of my house, I like to read. I’m a housewife and a mother. I also go to plays. That’s a good hobby. I just saw Funny Girl last week.

K: Would you recommend it?

P: Oh yes. It was an excellent musical.

K: What’s your favorite season?

P: I like winter and spring. Im not a fan of summer- I don’t like the heat, even though I live right on the water.

K: What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?

P: I like chocolate.

K: What’s your favorite color?

P: I like the earth tones.

K: Do you have any words of wisdom for the graduating class?

P: I wish them all a lot of luck. They need to keep focused because it’s a tough world out there. Be aware of everything. If they keep their noses to the grindstone they’ll be fine. This is a really good class. They are polite and caring and they are good to people. They are always interesting to talk to. I think they are going to go far. They all have beautiful personalities. I feel that I’m going to read about some great accomplishments from this grade. They are really good kids
